My name is Leonard Woplin I am the founder and chief Instructor of Gaijin Ryu Karate I currently hold a 7th Degree
black belt in Karate (awarded by the British National Martial Arts Association in 2008 and now recognised by both Nakmas &
the AMA here in the UK). I have been trained by british, european and world champions in a number oof diffrent martial arts. In
2008 some of my students expressed a wish to take part in the B.N.M.A.A Mayplex MMA British Championship that was due to be
held in 2009. Having a Black belt in Karate & kickboxing and being a assistant in structor in Japanese Ju Jitsu in knew
that my stand up was up to standard and that I had an understanding of groundwork but I have always sort to improve not only
my level and understanding of diffrent martial arts but that of my students as well. I came across the IMMA full instructor MMA
package and took a chance on it, all I can say is that i'm glad I did. The program is laid out in an easy to follow well explaned
patten with the various options and counters also presented within each technique. I concentrated on the wrestling as this
was the weakest part of my understanding and taught my students various techniques, drills and combinations from across the
whole system. In 2009 I took my students to the competition with the training and with the help of the DVDs my students
